Overview
A zero-export or DG-sync controller is only as good as its meter reading. The Smart Energy Meter (RS485) is a multi-function meter (MFM) with RS485 Modbus RTU output, ready to connect to our controllers and loggers.
It measures electrical values such as voltage, current, power and energy. Our devices read it continuously for control, and send the readings to the Solar Portal for monitoring.
Because it uses standard Modbus RTU, other Modbus systems on site can read it too.
