Zero Export & DG-Sync Controllers

These controllers decide, moment by moment, how much power your solar inverters should make. They read the grid or DG meter, and then set an output limit on each inverter over RS485 Modbus RTU.

Zero export stops your plant from feeding power into the grid, where export is not allowed or not paid. DG sync keeps a safe minimum load on your diesel generator, so solar never pushes power back into it. One kit can be set up for zero export or for DG sync.

Which one should I choose?

• Kits with meter: you get the controller and the multi-function meter (MFM) together.
• Kits without meter: for sites that already have a meter with RS485 Modbus output.
• Wireless: meter readings travel by radio, so no long RS485 cable is needed between the meter panel and the inverters.
• Wired: the meter connects with an RS485 cable. Good when the panel and the inverters are close.
• Built-in smart meter: controller and meter in one device, for less wiring.
