Overview
The Beta Zero-Export Data Logger does two jobs in one device. It records data from your inverters and meters, and it stops the plant from exporting power to the grid.
It reads inverters and meters over RS485 Modbus RTU and sends the data to the Solar Portal: live power, daily and total energy, meter readings and alerts. At the same time it watches the grid meter and limits inverter output, so no power flows back to the grid.
Beta is our larger logger family, made for plants with several inverters and meters. Internet comes from the site network or a 4G router. If your team needs the data files on your own server, Beta can also send them by FTP or SFTP.
