Overview
Many sites are not allowed to export solar power to the grid, or are not paid for it. The Alpha Zero-Export Controller makes sure your plant does not feed power back, while it still uses as much solar as your load allows.
It reads the grid-side meter and limits inverter output in real time. When the load goes up, solar goes up. When the load drops, solar is cut back within moments, so export stays at zero or very close to it.
This is the wireless version. Meter readings travel by long-range radio from the meter panel to the controller near the inverters, so you do not need to lay a long RS485 cable across the site. A 4G data SIM is included for monitoring on the Solar Portal.
