Overview
When the grid fails and your diesel generator (DG) takes over, solar can push power back into the DG. This reverse power can trip the DG or damage it. The Alpha DG-Sync Controller stops this from happening.
The controller reads the DG meter and talks to your inverters over RS485 Modbus RTU. It keeps checking how much load the site has, and sets the solar output so the DG always carries a safe minimum load. Solar still shares the load, so you burn less diesel. When the grid comes back, solar returns to full output on its own.
This is the wired version: the meter and inverters connect to the controller with an RS485 cable. A 4G data SIM is included, so you can watch DG and solar power on the Solar Portal from anywhere.
Before dispatch we check your inverter make and model. After installation our team helps with setup remotely and checks that every inverter follows the controller.
